Today we are going to work with... COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVES!!!
Look at this picture:
I'm tall --> Soy alto.... but, I'm taller than you --> Soy más alto que tú. (eso quiere decir que los "comparative adjectives" son aquellos adjetivos que se usan para comparar una cosa con la otra. En este ejemplo, la altura de una persona con la altura de otra).
He's strong --> Él es fuerte....but, he's stronger than the tiger --> Él es más fuerte que el tigre
Let's see the last example! They're intelligent --> Ellos son inteligentes... but they're more intelligent than the man --> Ellos son más inteligentes que el hombre.
¿Qué ha pasado aquí? ¿Por qué no pone "intelligenter than" y pone "more intelligent"? Bien, cuando el adjetivo tiene tres o más sílabas el comparativo se pone usando more en vez de añadir -er al final.
