During this lesson we are going to continue working on the Pop Art movement. Today we are going to learn a Little bit about JAMES RIZZI. Let´s start by watching this video:
As you have already seen, Rizzi´s work shows these characteristics:
- Bright colours.
- Everything is outlined with a black marker.
- Houses have human faces.
- The background is full.
- He often shows his birthplace, New York.
Do you like his paintings? I hope so, because today you are going to draw houses by following Rizzi´s style:
Remember that Rizzi´s houses show human characteristics like clothes, eyes, smiles, etc. You need to colour the houses with bright colour markers, and don´t forget to outline the details with a black marker. Finally, draw things in the air: stars, a moon, hot air ballon, etc.
